Cedar hedge fire breaks out across from Mayfair Shopping Centre

Victoria firefighters responded to a fast-moving hedge fire across the street from Mayfair Shopping Centre Saturday night. The Victoria Fire Department says a single engine company was called to the area of Blanshard Street and Finlayson Street just before 9 p.m. on Aug. 22 for reports of a grass or brush fire.
