Catholic Bishops Mourn Rev. Fr. Benjamin Banda Following Fatal Road Accident
The Malawi Conference of Catholic Bishops (MCCB) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Rev. Fr. Benjamin Banda, who died in a road accident while returning from a funeral in Jenda, Mzimba District. Fr. Banda, who served as a priest at St. Theresa Katete Parish, was ordained on October 30, 2021. According to a statement released by the MCCB, his body will be laid to rest this coming Sunday at Katoto in Mzuzu.
