Catherine's Christmas service to feature stars including Kate Winslet

On Dec. 5, Catherine, Princess of Wales will host the fifth annual Together at Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey, Kensington Palace announced at midnight on Nov. 13.
Started in 2021 as a tribute, the service celebrates community efforts during COVID-19 and now reflects a 'power of love and togetherness' theme, organisers say.
Actors Hannah Waddingham, Kate Winslet and Chiwetel Ejiofor will give readings while the Westminster Abbey choir sings carols and Jamie Butterworth, horticulturist, creates a festive display with wreaths from the Royal Horticultural Society.
A congregation of 1,600 will attend Westminster Abbey, while fifteen community carol services hosted by local lord‑lieutenants and backed by The Royal Foundation will honour acts of love.
The service will be filmed for broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX on Christmas Eve and repeated on Christmas Day, combining traditional and modern elements to include people of all faiths and none.
