Catalina Classic statue commemorates 46 years of Manhattan Beach paddling history

Manhattan Beach’s paddle boarding community has set in stone – or rather, bronze — its mark on the water sport that has an intimate South Bay history. The city, along with the South Bay Boardriders Club, cut the ribbon this week on a statue commemorating the Catalina Classic Paddleboard Race.
