‘Castlevania’ team confirms 40th anniversary orchestral concerts

- Konami announced a trio of orchestral concerts celebrating the 40th anniversary of Castlevania, with performances scheduled for Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles in early 2027.
- Since its 1986 debut on Famicom in Japan, the gothic horror series has expanded through 40 years of sequels and spin-offs, following the Belmont family's fight against Dracula.
- Konami is offering the original Castlevania as a free Android app through Oct. 24, while vinyl releases for the original soundtrack and 1997's Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night have been confirmed.
- Starting tomorrow, fans can stream Castlevania Black and Red tracks on select platforms. The publisher also prepared special discount sales on series titles and celebratory videos.
- Releasing Oct. 15, Belmont's Curse returns the series to its 2D roots after a decade without new mainline entries. Developed by Evil Empire, the game follows Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor, wielding the Vampire Killer whip.
