CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's Office was called to a suspected home invasion on Saturday that ended with K9 Sitka sniffing out the suspect, who was hiding a short distance from the home.

A K9 with the Cass County Sheriff’s Department has taken a bite out of home invasions by catching a break-in suspect over the weekend. The department tells us deputies were called to a home in the village of Cassopolis around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday to assist the Cassopolis Police Department with a home invasion and were told the suspect had already run off.
