Sonya Shows of Schaus, LLC addressed the Carter County Commission on Tuesday evening to discuss the first year of recovery from Hurricane Helene. She went over many of the unique factors of the storm that required adjustments in the way FEMA normally handles reimbursements from hurricane recovery expenses.
