Look: Carrot Top Thanks Well-Wishers for Support After Hospitalization
Tickets are back on sale as the comedian recovers at home after hospitalization tied to a legal dispute with former opener Brian Evans.
Scott Thompson, known as Carrot Top, resumes his Las Vegas residency at the Luxor Hotel on Monday, October 19. Tickets for daily shows went on sale on Thursday.
Thompson was hospitalized on September 18 after being found unconscious following a welfare check at his Las Vegas home. He remained in care until late September while recovering amid an ongoing legal dispute.
Court documents from Broward County, Florida, allege former opening act Brian Evans threatened to release an X-rated video unless paid $500,000. Evans denied the allegations in a statement to Page Six.
On Saturday, Thompson posted his first public comments since the incident on Instagram, writing he is "truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of love" and confirming his return to the stage.
Evans claimed the video was "deleted a long time ago," though Thompson continues his recovery. His return marks a potential spotlight return at the Luxor Hotel and Casino after September's crisis.
