Carlsbad Mother, Girlfriend Charged in Teen Walmart Theft Case

Carlsbad mother Sonya Romero and her girlfriend, Danielle Sanchez, face felony charges for allegedly helping two teenagers steal more than $400 in clothing from Walmart. Police say surveillance footage showed the teens being dropped off and picked up by Romero’s car. Both women had arrest warrants issued Oct. 22 but had not been arrested as of Oct. 27.
