CLAGENFURT. A 24-year-old graduate nurse was not legally acquitted on Wednesday at the Landesgericht Klagenfurt from the charge of grossly negligent killing.
A 24-year-old registered nurse was acquitted on Wednesday at the Klagenfurt Regional Court of the charge of negligent homicide. The verdict is not yet legally binding. The public prosecutor's office had accused her of being responsible for the death of an 85-year-old woman. The woman died in November 2025 from fatal cardiovascular failure and sepsis after taking an excessive dose of medication.
