An extreme cold watch was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 12:51 a.m. valid from Saturday 7 a.m. until Sunday 1 p.m. for Herkimer, Hamilton, Fulton, Montgomery, Schoharie, Schenectady, Albany, Greene and Ulster counties.The weather service adds, “Dangerously cold wind chills between 25 and 35 degrees below zero possible.”
