Cape Verde's TC suspends elections in the main opposition party

The court decided to “suspend the holding of direct elections for the election of the president of the PAICV and of delegates to the XVIII Congress, scheduled for March 30, 2025", as well as to suspend the execution of the party's deliberation, dated March 23, “which admitted the candidacy of the militant Francisco Carvalho to the elections”.
