Canton Police Sgt. Sean Goode, one of the officers who responded to the scene of John O’Keefe’s death, resigned from his position effective Tuesday, the town Select Board announced during a meeting. Goode was placed on administrative leave on Oct. 24, 2025, after town officials learned of “allegations of misconduct.”
