CONCORD — Secretary of State David Scanlan is reminding individuals interested in running for federal, state or county office that the candidate filing period is June 3-12.

Candidate filing period opens

The filing period for Cloquet City Council Wards 1, 2, 3 and mayor opens Tuesday, May 19 through June 2. Affidavits of candidacy will be accepted by the City Clerk at Cloquet City Hall, 101 14th Street, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
