Throughout this federal election, CBC K-W has connected with people through the voter surveys, during a pop-up at the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market, or through reporters talking to everyday residents at local parks or on the street. Canadians are heading to the polls Monday and three took part in a voter panel on CBC K-W's The Morning Edition to share how they're feeling on voting day.
Canadians in the Sun and determination to vote
The polling stations have been open since 9:30 a.m. this morning in Quebec, and will remain open until 9:30 p.m. Eastern time (except for the Îles de la Madeleine). As soon as opening, there was a queue in several polling stations, including those in the Laurier-Sainte-Marie electoral district, in the heart of Montreal. Liberal Minister Steven Guilbeault's fief who asked for another mandate on Parliament Hill.
