OTTAWA, CANADA, AUG 2 – Ethan Katzberg and Marco Arop, reigning world and Olympic champions, secured national titles in hammer throw and 800 metres with winning marks of 81.33m and 1:45.44 respectively.
- On Saturday in Ottawa, Ethan Katzberg secured first place at the national track and field meet, further building on his achievements as Olympic and World champion.
- Katzberg, who achieved a Canadian hammer throw best of 84.38 metres in April 2024 and established a new national championship mark of 82.60 metres in late June 2024, competed in Ottawa alongside many leading athletes.
