The Human Rights Advisory Council of Graz observed the election campaign for the 2026 municipal election from 18 to 28 May. The first evaluation shows that human rights-relevant issues such as housing, integration and education are addressed, but little explicit reference is made to human rights. Critically, restrictive demands on integration and access to housing are assessed. Overall, the election campaign is provided with a green light.
