Hovden and the skiing community in Southern Norway are strongly affected after the 18-year-old cross-country skier Camilla Nygård from Vennesla died on the trail during a test run organized by Hovden Skigymnasium at the waterworks in Hovden on Sunday. The name is released in consultation with the next of kin.


The family would like to thank everyone who helped when Camilla Nygård suffered a cardiac arrest during a training session.
The 18-year-old was at an organized joint training session. The school's principal says that fellow students are very affected.
