Cambodia's Defense Ministry issued a heated statement, calling on the international community to stop Thailand from expanding its military operations, and condemning the violation of international law by using prohibited weapons to attack "Preah Vihear Temple - civilians", causing severe damage.

An armed conflict has erupted between Thailand and Cambodia, leading to the displacement of more than 130,000 people and the death toll reaching at least 20. Both sides have used heavy weapons and even carried out air strikes in the fighting. The ceasefire agreement has collapsed, civilians are at risk, and the World Heritage site of Preah Vihear Temple has been damaged. The war is expected to escalate further.
