More than 80,000 Limburg homeowners in the former mining region will receive a letter this week inviting them to submit claims for potential mining damage to their homes. The physical claim desk will open in Heerlen in January, and starting December 22nd, the claims process will be available digitally by postal code area. This applies to homes suspected of damage, such as sunken foundations and cracked walls.
