Since January, legislators have introduced 574 anti-LGBTQ+ bills around the country, according to suicide prevention organization The Trevor Project. During the first three months of this year, more than double the number of anti-LGBTQ+ bills were introduced than in the entirety of 2022 — and two of those bills were in California.
