Black bear cub 'safely apprehended' in southwest Calgary neighbourhood

A young black bear was captured after being found wandering through the southwest Calgary community of Signal Hill on Saturday. Fish and Wildlife said the bear, which is believed to be the same one that had been reported in the nearby neighbourhood of Discovery Ridge multiple times recently, will be relocated to rural Crown land.
