Child sex offender indicted on new charges

A convicted sex offender in Bridgeport has been indicted on two new felony charges related to child pornography. Fred Douglas Sutherland, 69, was indicted on two charges of possession of more than 50 images/videos of child pornography, a first degree felony offense.
