The price of a cup of coffee from Douwe Egberts is going up. Manufacturer JDE Peet’s wants to make our cup 15 to 25 percent more expensive due to increased costs. The European purchasing group Everest (of supermarkets Jumbo and Picnic) cannot reach an agreement with the supplier JDE Peet’s of Douwe Egberts. So since Tuesday, no new DE coffee has been arriving in the warehouses. Jumbo and delivery shop Picnic are still selling Douwe Egberts coffee, but only while supplies last.
