Butts County sex offenders partially win appeal involving Halloween signs

(WGXA) -- In October of 2018, the Butts County Sheriff's Office placed signs in the front yards of 57 registered sex offenders around Halloween time that read: "Stop" and "No Trick or Treat At This Address. " A year later, three registered sex offenders wanted to stop the sheriff's office from placing the signs in their yards and collectively filed a lawsuit.
