Burst pipes take out water supplies for central Wellington, Greytown

About 100 buildings in central Wellington are without water while repairs to a burst drinking water pipe take place. The fault was reported around 7am this morning. Water was shut off for around 100 buildings on Jervois Quay and Hunter Street. More than 100 residents in the Lower Hutt suburb of Point Howard are facing yet another drinking water outage.
