Rajasthan is in the grip of heavy rains and floods these days. The rains that have been continuing for the last three days have caused havoc in the state. The situation is most serious in Sawai Madhopur district, where there has been large-scale erosion of land. At many places, flat fields have turned into 30-40 feet deep ditches.
