The Boston Celtics have exercised their $2.27 million team option for the 2024-25 season on JD Davison. Davison's contract is non-guaranteed. Davison appeared in 16 games with the Celtics last season, averaging 2.1 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 5.8 minutes. Davison, who was Most Valuable Player of the G League last season, averaged 25.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 7.9 assists in 34.6 minutes across 45 games.
