Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav stated that work on India's first bullet train project is progressing rapidly. He stated that construction of the first section, between Surat and Vapi, will be completed by December this year. Following this, the bullet train will be put on the tracks and extensive testing will begin by April-May next year.
