Cleveland State women’s basketball stopped short of NIT final with loss to Buffalo
CLEVELAND, Ohio — The longest season in Cleveland State women’s basketball history has ended.The Vikings played a game in April for the first time on Wednesday but lost to Buffalo in the NIT semifinals, 74-69, at the University of Buffalo. The Vikings won three tournament games to each the semifinal in just their second NIT appearance. The lost in the first round in 2015.
