Brandin Cooks’ Chemistry with Allen Adds New Dimension to Bills Passing Game

On Saturday, Brandin Cooks has become a key downfield threat for the Buffalo Bills, building rapport with Josh Allen in the seven weeks since joining the team.
After being cut on Nov. 19, Brandin Cooks signed with Buffalo six days later as the Bills entered the Denver game depleted at receiver with only three healthy receivers.
In the wild-card win at Jacksonville, Cooks made a 36-yard catch just before the two-minute warning, and including Sunday, he has eight catches — seven for first downs — for 172 yards in six games with Buffalo.

Cooks said on Tuesday that deferring to the quarterback's direction guides his routes, and he is focused on playing in January and pursuing a third career Super Bowl appearance.
