Budget 2025: CCN responds
Today the Chancellor has unveiled the 2025 Budget, which contained a range of announcements relevant to local government. In particular, the government announced that all SEND expenditure will be funded by central government from 2028, though it has yet to set out how it intends to address councils’ SEND deficits before then.
