In Lisbon, police targeted pickpockets using an unusual but effective method. Officers, posing as tourists, arrested 149 thieves last year. Among those arrested was a 62-year-old man, a legendary pickpocket nicknamed "The Tram King." He was the leader of the so-called pensioners' gang, which included other criminals with surprising aliases.
