Bruges Puts an End to "Eternal" Concessions for Carriages and Tourist Boats

Bruges will soon open the concessions and permits for carriages, tourist boats, city tour buses, bicycle taxis and horse trams to everyone. The existing permits were always automatically extended, but European legislation obliges governments to consult the market at regular intervals. "I can't imagine it stopping for us soon," say the current operators.
