Brown after-action letter calls for additional review of plans in Providence

- The Dec. 13 attack killed two students and wounded nine others inside the Barus and Holley Building, sparking a tense, six-day manhunt ending in New Hampshire.
- Dispatch took about 80 seconds after the first calls, and Providence police and fire units arrived within five minutes, with patients transported in 12 minutes, Lt. John Faria said.
- The city will open a resiliency center with Family Services of Rhode Island and grant $45,000 each to Thayer District, Wickenden Area, and Wayland Square merchant associations, Smiley said.
- As students return next week for Jan. 21, the city will review mutual-aid, notification systems, and campus camera-sharing with the Providence Police Department's Real Time Crime Center.
