British woman Beth Potter secures World Cup title after winning

British woman Beth Potter secured the World Cup triathlon title for the first time with her victory at the season finale in Pontevedra. Flora Duffy from Bermuda won the World Cup series in 2021 and 2022. Potter won the Olympic distance on Sunday ahead of her compatriot Kate Waugh and Cassandre Beaugrand, keeping the Frenchwoman at a distance in the overall standings. There was nothing to fetch for the ÖTRV trio led by Julia Hauser (44th).
