British Independent Film Awards winners revealed
Harry Lighton's debut film Pillion won four awards including Best British Independent Film at the BIFAs, tying with Warfare for most wins this year.

- Warp Films was honoured with the BIFA Special Jury Prize for nearly 25 years of unflinching storytelling, while The Magic Lantern Cinema in Tywyn won the inaugural Cinema of the Year award.
