Kiss and End: Brigitte Fassbaender's "Parsifal" in Frankfurt

At the "Parsifal" at the Frankfurt Opera, the orchestra triumphs under the direction of Thomas Guggenheim. This time, the singer's cast, usually a class of its own, remains astonishingly inhomogeneous.

Brigitte Fassbaender makes it human in her Frankfurt "Parsifal" but does not reach all levels of the piece. Thomas Guggenheim succeeds in doing this with a captivating dirigat.
