Faced with the announcement of the ERE at the Basauri plant by Bridgestone, which calls for the dismissal of 335 workers, the Basauri City Council Spokespersons' Board, made up of political groups EAJ-PNV, PSE, EH Bildu, Elkarrekin Podemos and PP, has signed an institutional declaration in which it urges the leadership of the multinational to "reconsider this decision and continue betting on maintaining jobs in the Basauri plant".
