A total of 274,795 guests attended the 80 events over five weeks, the festival announced in a press release. Verdi's "La traviata," performed on the lake, drew 193,474 viewers. The opera will be revived on July 22, 2027; the day before, Othmar Schoeck's "Penthesilea" will open the new season as the festival's resident opera.
