- Acting on intelligence regarding a criminal gang operating near Oroki Estate, officers specifically targeted the property to locate Abiodun Arowomole, known as "Ashipa," who is wanted for alleged involvement in serious criminal offences.
- During the search, officers recovered N4,810,500 in cash, one Dynabook laptop, one printer, two Permanent Voter Cards, and a voter register covering Wards 1 to 15 from the premises.
- The recovery of cash and electoral materials raised serious concerns regarding possible electoral offences and other criminal activities, prompting investigators to broaden enquiries under the Electoral Act 2022.
- Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Gotan assured residents that the Nigeria Police Force remains steadfast in enforcing the law without fear or favour, stating any individuals found culpable will face prosecution under the Constitution.
