Miners who are members of the Turkish Mining Workers' Union entered the Yıldızlar SSS Holding building, which owns Doruk Mining. Holding owner Sabahattin Yıldız made a press statement with the workers, promising that the payments would be made.
Seyit Aslan, the leader of the Labor Party, reacted to the intervention against miners who are members of the Independent Mining Workers' Union and who have been unable to collect their wages at workplaces affiliated with Yıldızlar Holding. Aslan stated that they stand by the workers' just struggle and demanded that their demands be met, their wages paid, and that those detained be released.
