Commerzbank has been resisting a takeover by the Italian bank UniCredit for over a year. However, it does not relax and has now expanded its direct share to 26 percent.
UniCredit increases its stake in Commerzbank to 26%
Italy's second-biggest bank UniCredit has increased its stake in Germany's third-biggest lender Commerzbank to 26%, the Italian bank said Monday. At the moment, however, it does not want to ask for seats on the board, it said. (ANSA)
