BRAZORIA — A provisional Brazoria police officer is no longer with the city after his arrest early Friday in Lavaca County, authorities confirmed.

On Friday, November 7, 2025, probationary officer Richard Alan Sedgwick with the Brazoria Police Department was arrested in Lavaca County following a traffic incident.
