Brazilian military police have killed the leader of a drug trafficking group in a Rio de Janeiro favela as well as two other suspected criminals.

One of Brazil's most wanted criminals, drug lord Thiago da Silva Folly, known by his nickname TH, was killed by police in a raid in Rio de Janeiro, authorities in the Latin American country announced on Tuesday.
