The Brazilian Congress passed on Thursday a law that reduces Jair Bolsonaro’s sentence for the attempted coup of 2022, strongly rejecting Lula da Silva’s veto. The Chamber of Deputies voted with 318 votes (exceeding the 257 required) and the Senate with 49 (necessary 41).
