Bosnia and Herzegovina has settled a debt of approximately 56 million euros to the Slovenian company Viaduct today, the Croatian news agency Hina reported, confirming the BiH Ministry of Finance. The debt arose from the unilateral termination of the contract for the construction of a hydroelectric power plant on the Vrbas River.
BiH thus got rid of a debt that had been waiting to be paid for years, and every day of delay in implementing the ruling of the Arbitration Tribunal in Washington cost the country an additional nine thousand euros in interest.
