Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Honored with Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
The Cleveland-based rap group is being honored for 10 studio albums, a Grammy Award and the chart-topping single “Tha Crossroads,” officials said.
- On Wednesday, hip-hop group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony unveiled the 2,851st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6126 Hollywood Blvd., cementing their legacy as one of rap's most influential acts.
- Discovered by late rapper Eazy-E, the group signed to Ruthless Records in 1993 and spent 35 years blending melodic harmonies with fast-paced flows, reshaping mainstream rap from their Cleveland origins.
- During the event, rappers Ice-T and Fat Joe attended, with Ice-T stating, "They remain one of the most influential and best-selling hip-hop groups of all time," while celebrating the Grammy-winning hit "Tha Crossroads."
- Officials declared "Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Day" during the ceremony, while member Stanley Howse reflected, "From the trenches to the stars, we've been through it all, through the fire and the rain."
- Following the induction, the group launches a concert tour on Friday at the Garden Amp in Garden Grove and will join Wu-Tang Clan's The Final Chamber Tour in August.
