Bombardier Celebrates Entry-into-Service of the Global 8000 Aircraft, the World's Fastest Business Jet
The Global 8000 jet, boasting Mach 0.95 speed and an 8,000 NM range, was delivered after Transport Canada certification, marking a key milestone for Bombardier's business aviation.
- On Dec. 08, 2025, Bombardier Inc. celebrated the Global 8000's entry-into-service at its Aircraft Assembly Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, where Patrick Dovigi accepted the keys.
- Earlier this year, the Global 8000 completed its flight-test program, reaching Mach 0.95 and a lowest cabin altitude of 2,691 ft, then received Transport Canada Type Certification on November 5, 2025.
- With an 8,000 NM range, the Global 8000 offers four true living spaces and a separate crew rest area, while an advanced wing design with leading-edge slats enables access to more than 2,000 destinations.
- Éric Martel said the entry-into-service inspires pride among all 18,000 employees, while Bombardier customers operate more than 5,100 aircraft supported by 10 service facilities across six countries.
