Board hears from citizens about proposed budget
MONTEREY – Monday April 28, the Highland County Board of Supervisors held a public meeting on its proposed tax rates or levies, the projected revenue, and the proposed expenses.
No tax increases or hikes in trash or EMS fees are proposed.
Floyd Maxey of Head Waters told the board, “I’d like to say that the county budget is finally moving in the right direction, from my point of view.”
